As engineering and technology become increasingly important in our everyday lives, there is a growing need to bring engineering and technology into the classroom in meaningful ways. This webinar will present the College of Engineering's outreach collaborations to improve K-12 education and describe how engineering faculty can become engaged with these outreach efforts.

This Virtual Brown Bag is part of a series of lunchtime webinars organized by STEM Initiatives to highlight opportunities for the university community to collaborate with partners involved with STEM Initiatives focus areas:

  • outreach and engagement with schools and the public
  • reform of undergraduate teaching and learning
  • recruitment and retention of students from underrepresented groups
